A break-through meditation

A good friend let me borrow this while I was going through a guy-atus (my term for a drought in dating). I thought I knew what I wanted out of a relationship but after listening to this a couple of times, I was surprised to realize how much I had been holding myself back to dreaming BIG; which is probably why I was ending up in relationships that would only go "so far". This meditation really helped me open my mind to greater possibilities and further define what it was I really wanted on a deeper level. In terms of the production of the CD itself, I thought it was very well done. Her voice is easy to listen to; the non-vocal parts are exactly the right length for the listener to absorb what was just said without losing the train of consciousness; the music was appropriate and actually helpful in reinforcing the message. I have listened to other mediation CD's (not on this particular subject) and I keep comparing them to this one.
My story ends on a happy note: 2 months after listening to this, my ex-boyfriend and I rekindled our relationship and I am now pregnant with our baby! We are both happy and thrilled and I can't help but recognize that this CD assisted me in formulating the vision for my life that I am now living.

but nothing happened. My life is pretty great, but there is one thing missing: a wonderful relationship. I was full of hope and enthusiasm when I started listening to this CD. Every night for 30 days with "focused attention on my goal." Nothing happened. I continued listen to the CD for the next three months, and still nothing was happening. I gave a little rest, and started to listen to it again for months, and nothing. I am happy for people that this CD has helped, but it did not help me.

I have used many meditation tapes and this one is worth the money. It covers issues interfering with having a relationship. I can tell during the day by how I deal with things that the cd is helping me and my self talk.

Self-knowledge Then Find A Partner

This CD helped me to realize that before I could attract the right partner for me I had to discover what was getting in the way. The CD also helped me to focus in on what I needed to work on in order to prepare myself for the type of relationship I was looking for.
